The Colt M1911A1 is a semi-automatic pistol and variant to the original Colt M1911 pistol introduced back in 1911 (e.g. World War 1).
History[]
The Colt M1911A1 variant has been utilized since it's introduction in World War 2. It was utilized by Allied Forces in both the Pacific and European Campaign. By Vietnam, the 1911A1 was used by American soldiers against the Viet Cong and NVA. Since then, the weapon has undergone a variety of different changes and modifications, as well as being recognized as one of the best handguns in existence.

Rocket Jump has the use of airsoft variants of the Colt M1911A1 and utilize them in their short films and series.
Video Game High School[]
By the end of season 2, The Law is seen using two golden Colt M1911A1 pistols as his primary weapon. These of course replaced the use of his golden Taurus PT92 named The Long Arm.
